Since 2002, Dana has been tutoring students in Math and Science from grades 2 through high school and into early college. He has worked with approximately 300 students from the Southmoor Park neighborhood and all over the metro Denver area and beyond via the internet.
From basic arithmetic through AP Calculus and AP Physics, as well as test prep for both the ACT and SAT — Dana enjoys helping kids "get it" and achieve success. He can meet with your student at his home, your home, a library or coffee shop, or over the internet.
His professional background spans 4 decades as a Software Engineer. For the last 20 years of that career, he worked on Advanced Manufacturing Scheduling algorithms and data modeling using Artificial Intelligence techniques. Dana retired at the end of 2017 and now devotes full time to tutoring.
Dana has been tutoring our children for over 8 years. He has tutored my son in college calculus, physics, and trig. He has also tutored my other children in high school Algebra 1 and 2 and my younger children in grade school and middle school math. He has been such a help to all of our kids. Whether it was weekly appointments to review lessons, or preparing for exams, he has made math fun and concepts easier to understand. We have recommended Dana to many and will continue to do so.
